Last week (14-16 Nov-2023) METAMORPHA partner fentISS attended the Space Tech Expo 2023 in Bremen, Germany. fentISS has a background in space-related technology and it is this knowledge of mission critical real-time synchronisation that led to its role in METAMORPHA. This transfer of space technology to manufacturing systems is proving a very fruitful area for collaboration. At the Expo, some METAMORPHA merchandise was distributed, and there were some very interesting discussions on cross-fertilisation of ideas.
